The people at Scone New Church come from different parts of the country, indeed the world! We all have different characters and temperaments – in other words we are just like you.
At the heart of the Fellowship’s life is the Lord Jesus Christ. We are increasingly trying to live our lives as Jesus would want them to be lived. An important part of this process is Sunday worship. On a Sunday we meet with God and learn about Him in His Word, The Bible. Although separated and alienated from God because of our sinfulness, the Good News is that God has made it possible for us to know Him and experience His forgiveness. He offers us a new beginning with Himself and ourselves (and each other). Just the thing we need when life comes crashing down around us and we mess up.
As a Church we are in a period of transition as we seek the Lord’s will for the Church, not only for today, but more importantly also for tomorrow. We want to be relevant to people, but also honouring to God.
We also enjoy fellowship after the Service where friendships are made and deepened over tea and coffee.If you have children we have a small but enthusiastic children’s ministry. There are also many other activities during the week that may be of interest. If you were to join us on a Sunday you are sure to receive a warm welcome from the people of the Church.
