1624Scone Parish Church erected on Moothill, Scone Palace. Only an aisle remains. |
1748Formation of Burgher Church of original Secession Movement of 1733. Congregation built own church. |

1784Church rebuilt on another site in the grounds of Scone Palace. 1804-1805Parish Church moved to New Scone stone by stone and rebuilt exactly as it had stood before. 1834Population of New Scone increasing and another aisle added to the church. |
1789Church superseded by another building. 1810Church taken down and re-erected in New Scone. 1820Became known as the United Secession Church following the union of Burgher and Anti-Burgher Churches. Manse built in Union Road. |

1897St David's, Stormontfield erected as an auxiliary church of the parish. |
1843Formation of Free Church of Scotland following the disruption. 1844First church erected on the site of the present Scone New Church. 1845Free Church School built by the congregation. 1848Manse built at Murrayshall Road. 1876School transferred to the new public school in the Robert Douglas Memorial Institute. 1886First church building demolished. 1887New church erected and gifted to The Free Church of Scotland by Miss G. Moodsman, Balformo - our present church. 1900Union with United Presbyterian Church to form the United Free Church - to be know as the Abbey Church. |
